Sanshou kickboxer Cung Le (9-3) tested positive for elevated levels of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) in a sample taken post-fight. Le was suspected after he posted a picture on his instagram account before the UFC event in China. His opponent Michael Bisping (25-6) had some doubts about the American in his pre-fight interviews before the event, but was still hoping he didn't use any banned substances. While Le said it only came down to a strict diet and training. After cheating, UFC suspended the fighter for a period of nine months, and the former Strikeforce Champion will also need to pass a drug test before he can get back into competition again.

 
 
UFC Lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov (22-0) tweeted a photo after being cleared by the doctors to come back to the Octagon next year. The undefeated Russian after beating every opponent in his way was supposed to meet "Cowboy" Cerrone at the recent UFC 178 show. Sadly Nurmagomedov suffered a knee-injury and his place was taken by former Bellator Champion Eddie Alvarez.

It's announced that Bellator 130's fight card which will be headlined by Bellator Light Heavyweight title holder Emanuel Newton (24-7) and English Linton Vassell (14-3) who holds a nine-fight win-streak. Also in the co-headliner, WWE star Bobby Lashley (11-2) will clash with undefeated Brit Karl Etherington (9-0). The main card will be opened by a lightweight bout between Season Seven Lightweight Tournament Winner Dave Jansen (19-2) who's been away from fighting for more than a year, and Season Six Lightweight and Season Nine Welterweight Tournament Winner Rick Hawn (18-3) followed by a women's featherweight bout between two newcomers Italian Annalisa Bucci (7-3) and ex-Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion Marloes Coenen (21-6) from Holland. 

Bellator 130 takes place on October 24, 2014 at the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas.

International kickboxing promotion GLORY will hold its next tournament, Glory 18: Return to Glory, on November 7 at Grand Casino Hotel & Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The event airs live on SPIKE TV. In the main event GLORY Lightweight Champion Davit Kiria marks his second title defence in fight against It's Showtime "Fast & Furious 70MAX" Tournament Champion Robin van Roosmalen who previously have met each other two times in the past. In the co-main event American Wayne Barrett collides with Dutch Jason Wilnis. Also part of the event is the one-night, four-man tournament where Zack Mwekassa takes on Brian Collette and on the other side of the bracket, Saulo Cavalari meets Artem Vakhitov.
 
 
The Ultimate Fighter Season 20 finale got its date and place and will be held on December at the Palms in Las Vegas.

 
 
This documentary about the rise of MMA in Sweden takes us to the training camp at Allstars Training Center in the "Capital of Scandinavia", where the famous Swedish MMA fighters #1 UFC light heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson, wrestler Ilir Latifi, European and Scandinavian Amateur champion in Shootfighting Magnus Cedenblad, TUF 17 competitor Tor Troeng and undefeated featherweight Niklas Backstrom are all preparing for their fights. All except Gustafsson will participate at  the upcoming UFC Fight Night 53 in Stockholm. 
 
 
Tim Kennedy (18-5) doesn't agree with his loss against Yoel Romero (9-1). The fighters met backstage after UFC 178 and the American started an arguement with the Cuban. Kennedy wants to appeal the controversial loss as he thinks it was strange that Romero after nearly being knocked out in the second round, took long time to get into the fight in the third.
 
 
Check out UFC 179: Aldo vs. Mendes 2 trailer. UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo (24-1) will once again defend his title against Chad Mendes (16-1). In their first match, the Brazilian knocked out the NCAA Division 1 wrestler at UFC 142. Also this same evening Glover Teixeira (22-3) will meet Phil Davis (12-2).

UFC 179: Aldo vs. Mendes 2 will be held on October 25, 2014 at Ginásio do Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
 
 
In the main event of UFC 178 Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson starts moving around challenger Chris Cariaso, then takes him down and tries to advance into a better position. Cariaso manages to get up, but at the end of the round "Mighty Mouse" stuns him with a punch-knee combination but couldn't finish his opponent due to the gong. In the second round, Johnson lands some kicks and knees in the clinch and puts his opponent down again. Johnson advances to side position, landing punches, traps Cariaso's arm and secures kimura, Cariaso taps in pain.
